I'm gonna soon take down this section, to honor the memory of Selena, John Lennon, Rebeca etc.


The fact is, that ADAM now hates guns with a purple passion. These evil things need to be removed from the planet.

We've conquered smallpox, for the most part. And many many other evils of the world.

Well, it's now time for guns to go the way of the DODO (sorry, Eric Vegas)

I'm sick of the Faughking things. I mean, if we had 100,000,000 king cobras running around the US, would we not use the full might of our resources, to get rid of the dam things?

I can remember back in 1975 When I debated another student about gun control. I of course was agaisnt it, just basically parrotting the views of my father.

All the standard rhetoric, I used in my debate.


But, the fact of the matter is all the crap you here from the gun lobby, and gun nuts, is just utter bull, and a SKEWING of historical facts.


Sure, a 90 pound grandma, needs to be able to defend herself against a 220 pound HOPHEAD.

But, just as all other areas of technology have improved since, like the last 500 years, there certainly can be something like a "thorazine revolver" to incapacitate an attacker. Yes, I know that sounds like something that a dumshit ignoramus anti-gun person would say. I just use that as like my generic example of what could be made.

Obvioulsy, someone hit multiple times would get an overdose, and die, but YOU GET THE IDEA.

at BEST, someone should be allowed to have a six-shot revolver, preferabbly factory-sealed and cannot be reloaded.
AT BEST.


No one needs freaki'n 18 shot hand guns, and (gasp) up to 150 shot assault rifles, to defend themselves from an attacker.

Here's something you NEVER hear in this debate, but only because EVERY other person in the world that takes the anti-gun side, is TOTALLY ignorant of anything about guns, or the history behind the second amendment.

But, not Me. HEck, I got my first gun when I was seven.

Sweet 16? 357 magnum. Hi school graduation? Combat shotgun, with all the extras to give it extra killing power.


So, anyway, if the founding fathers had ANY idea of the weapons that would exist in the future, the second amendment would have read something like this

"A well-regulated millita, being necessary for the security of a free state, the right of the people to NOT BE KILLED by GOD DAMN ASSAULT weapons, shall NOT be infringed.
Yeah, we'll have them around, in case we NEED the milita, but those motherfucking evil things are gonna be under lock and key.
WHAT, do you think we're CRAZY.


And, come to think of it, I am NOT sorry to any ATE fan that wants to hate me now.


We as a society no longer have to hunt to live. No more native Americans to just blast outta existence, because WE felt like it!


The hell with these things, wanna go "plinking" get a God Damn BB gun.


Yes, it is going to take a very very very long time. This is something that all the idiotic gun-grabbers NEVER bring up.


Any plan to remove guns from our society, would take at LEAST 60-80 years to accomplish.


And, it's going to take a lot of money, to compensate all the gun owners.

To just take them, would certainly NOT be American.

100 million times like a few hundred to a couple thousand each, is big bucks.

I mean, we're probably talking about close to half a TRILLION.

And frankly, 100 million guns is like a low estimate.


Like I said, SIXTY years, minimum.

But, we are getting rid of ASPESTOS, and heck, all the ot her civilized nations don't allow the damn things, at least not very much.


I freakin' hate guns now, and I think the world should get rid of them, and just come up with something like my "thorazine revolver" (I mean, that actually WORKS)

So that the weaklings and the grandmas and grandpas of the world don't have to just let the beasts of the world tear their heads off.


We can invent cell phones, we can't invent a non-firearm, non-lethal (yet instantly incapactating) defense weapon.


If you do'nt hear from me again, I guess that COLT and REMINGTON et all, sent hit men to kill me.

You could always join another forum, under another name, and discuss poker with people. You have a shit ton of knowledge Adam. We all know that. If you allow people to have their opinions, even if their wrong or different than yours, im sure you would become a valued member of any site. Just saying this incase you still want to have poker discussions and share your knowledge. But, if its just the "fame" and having fans that you want, then i dont know.

www.flopturnriver.com could use some people that know games other than holdem and they have a lot of good people there.

wELL, I do appreciate your comments. However, they are based on ONE BILLION percent faulty precepts. I.E. that someone I am at fault for the total elemination not only of this site, but all others. Sure, they still exist, but have just degenerated into a "oooh, did you she what BLANK did, did you hear what SHE said!

I suggested it so you would have something fun to do. Whether you do it or not is up to you.

Im sure that if you had a different name and a different attitude people would respect your poker intellect, and over time you would get the repect you think you deserve. But you cant expect people to change to suit your needs and to put up with your bad attitude because you wrote some articles. It was your choice to write free articles so they dont owe you anything. Your choice. Try it a different way and see what happens or keep doing things the same way you are and hope things change.

Adam is totally right. The state of poker today just isn't whati s used to be. Plus, it isn't easy to "Just do something else." Adam was a great teacher and, in fact, many people liked him because of his writing style, not in spite of it (myself included here).

Adam there are still some of us who appreciated everything you did to help people like me, and for nothing in return.

I think you sort of answered your own post. You don't come here as much anymore because you don't play poker anymore. I think that is the main reason why less people are here all together. The game has gotten to hard to beat, so people are not playing it anymore, therefore they are not coming here.
