If any past students, would like to give comments on my lessons, please do so here. ONLY actual past students, please. I ask for nothing but the truth, so please keep that in mind.

I had lessons with ATE in the past and I guarantee you that it's worth the money, especially in Omaha!!

I realized how little I knew about the game and he opened my eyes in many many aspects of it. I really felt enlightened and able to play the game with no problems on PartyPoker and PokerStars.

I'll definetely purchase another lesson when I finish college in 2 months.

I had my first lesson with Adam a couple of weeks back. It was indeed a fantastic experience for me. Unfortunately I have not really had time to digest what I learnt yet but I know I will be back for more lessons with Adam just as soon as I am ready.

Just to repeat it was a fantastic experience for me!!

I don't know if I qualify as a student. But I have talked to Adam on the phone before. He is quite nice and very different from what you may think if you have just read his articles. His writing sticks out when you read it on the forum, hence I think that's the way he writes them.

But on the phone, he was very patient and very informative.

However, my lesson wasn't on the phone but rather a PM in text form (Note: this is not norm as he will be on the phone talking to you).

I just had a particular hand in question, something that I had played out recently. Adam had answered all my questions and more, and gave reasoning behind each step. Why he bet, the reasoning behind each bet, the amount, the reason why for that amount.

I have to say to that you are getting TONS of info, something he always provides and really pushes to get to you. My question was just a few sentences, but his reply was something that took me 15-20 minutes to read through and re-read to fully soak in.

Although he just gave me lesson on one hand, he opened up my eyes to a whole bunch of other factors and styles. Don't expect a one answer reply, he'll provide you with a lot more than that.

I can't say that I've made millions (sorry ATE) but relative to my bankroll and the stakes I play, I've made quiet a bit Smile

Anyway, enough ramble by me. Btw - I left CP forums because ATE had come here. I hope that's enough for ya'll right there to appreciate ATE's articles.

I've had an email lesson, a couple phone lessons and one live lesson with ATE back when he lived in the frozen barren wasteland called Minnesota. It was about a 4 or 5 hour driveto get there, but I had a brother that lived near him so I just drove up for the weekend.

Here's a couple posts that I put on Cardplayer awhile back:

Like many holdem players I decided to venture into Omaha, really not having a clue about the dynamics of the game. I didn't want to blow my whole bankroll trying to figure it out on my own, so I purchased a lesson from ATE and couldn't be happier.
He helped me with some basic strategies which convinced me that Omaha is played COMPLTETELY different than holdem. Adam also hooked me up with a system for selecting proper starting hands, which is exactly what I needed to get rolling.
Sorry if this sounds like an infomercial, I just wanted to let some newbies know that his lessons are well worth the cost. Between phone calls and emails Adam is nothing like his screen character - he's actually quite pleasant and easy to talk to, but most importantly super informative.

Last week I had my second Omaha8 lesson with ADAMTHEXPERT. I must say, that when I hung up the phone I felt somewhat enlightened. We went through numerous sample hands, and talked about what to do in very specific situations. He brought to light many things that I hadn't considered before.
As mentioned before, on the phone Adam is nothing like his online character. He's very calm and easy to talk to. His lessons are affordable and he prides himself on the fact that his students get a quality education. If you're looking to improve your game, give ATE a shout. It's worth the investment.

I agree with this 100%.

To whom it may concern:

I just finished a lesson (via phone) with Adam and was very satisfied. I was a little hesitant to wire money to a total stranger but after reading his posts and others on this site, I decided it was worth the risk. He communicated back and forth very well before the lesson. He called me right on time for the lesson and went well beyond the three hours that were promised.

He covered everything I had asked to cover while asking for my input and questions along the way. He was very easy to talk to and very informative. My lesson focused strictly on NLHE. However, I plan to have another lesson in OMAHA in the near future. I would highly recommend anyone that is serious about getting better to contact Adam and setup a lesson!

Thanks, Matt.

I should mention, however that sometimes my health*bad) and depresson cause me to NOT be quite so relayable all the time. I am shamed to admit, that the previous day, I was NOT up to the lesson, and horribly did NOT get to the scheduled student.

Howver, this Sunday there will be a rescheduled lesson, for the victum of my "I just can't talk to anyone right now" mood.

No one evers gets gypped out of their lesson, but there may be a delay.

But, although I still am sorry to this person, I should say that it really is better to NOT try to teach, when I am not in a confident mood. I realize that one thing that ATE fans like about me, is the total confidence that I CAN teach y'all what you need to learn. If I'm not feeling up to it, the lesson would suffer.

I wish someone would help me set up a video camera, so that we can have live video stream seminars, so that maybe can particiapate,. with a much lower cost.

Adam

EDITID AFTER MISSED LESSON WAS given.

Ok, it's done. Those two that currently are "owed" lessons, should not fret. you WILL get them, and I can be rather sure that you will like them, and that (if applied) will succeed.

Just as 300 pounds of poop ai'nt gonna smell like a garden, a depressed, disturbed superobese diabetic petulant slob brat, ain't as dependable as NETFLICKS. (and, I really do'nt mean that in a "blazey" manner, just trying to explain)

Maddening, yes. But please also consider that if I was "normal" and had a NORMAL life, eitherthe information would not be avalable at all, or would be several times the price.

The good news, is that as I am eating healthier, I am getting MUCH better about the timely deliverly of lessons.

Doesnt messenger enable you to do live streaming videos? Setting up the cam is straightforward in most instances.

Well I just had my first Omaha lesson with Adam Cool
I had previously had a lesson but this was the first about Omaha.

The experience is fantastic and Adams teachings are brilliant. I can only re-iterate what others have said and that is that Adams manner is first class and he explains things so clearly and slowly and it is my pleasure to be a student of his.

I realise it will take time for me to let everything sink in and that it will take time to be able to start to play Omaha but I feel that I could not have started to learn this game at any better place than here with Adam Cool

Sure hoping Kljs gets over his back injury, he is missed by the site, and by ATE.

Yesterday, I had a in-person lesson with Adam on limit Omaha 8-or-better. I have recently begun playing the game live in L.A. area casinos, and realize I have a lot to learn. My lesson with Adam covered some insights on starting hands and extensive learning on the analysis of board texture, which was absolutely invaluable. Adam also provided a few powerful "nuggets" or tricks of the trade which are worth the price of a lesson in themselves. - David

Thank you for the post.

For those that can, my in-person lessons really give a MUCH better educational experience. BEing able to use a deck to show clear examples of the things you need to know, makes the lesson really sink in.

I wish more of y'all lived close enough, for me to have like a 4-person 3-day "training camp" for like 199 per person.

I mean, this is the deal of a lifetime, but Since airfare(for most of you) would more than quadruple the price, I don't see getting more than two takers, and I need four.

I had the privilege of learning about draw poker from Adam a couple of days ago. Very pleasant and long conversation - some of the top secret ninja things I learned are already paying back the lesson fee. He also managed to make the lesson enjoyable and memorable with his various analogies and anecdotes to back up what he was saying.

As I say, well worth the money and I would encourage to others to take the plunge!

Here's why you should get lessons from ATE:

1. I had been losing in the PLO8 games at full tilt for months... not a lot, but it was a steady bleeding away of money over enough hands to not be mere bad luck. Then I took one lesson from ATE and a couple of follow up emails. Played over the tape twice while studying for exams. Aced my exams and went back to play. I am now seriously crushing the game

2. He delivers the goods. Your money won't be stolen. He will teach you at the specified time and will normally go over time.

3. He's professional and does not conduct himself in the arrogant manner in which he writes on the forum.

Why you shouldn't get lessons from ATE:

If you suck, and you're lazy, it's a waste of time and money.

The fewer people take lessons, the more money I can make from my ATE-induced poker mastery.

I have yet to take lessons from ATE, though I intend to once I have money.

I have, however spoken with him at length on the phone and I can at least assure everyone that he is incredibly easy to talk to over the phone. Totally different from the online persona, which is just that, a persona.

Over the phone, he is funny, extremely conversational, and all-around pleasant to talk to.

I can only imagine the lessons are fantastic.

I took lessons from Adam in the Autumn of 2009. He starts out by evaluating the skill level of the new student. Adam takes the creation of a new winning poker player very seriously, so he doesn't waste his time and the student's money by assuming anything about previous poker knowledge. Once he has a grasp on the student's skill level and experience, he tailors his lessons accordingly. There is so much more to playing winning Omaha than is readily apparent to a typical Hold'em player and Adam covers it all. Having learned how to really play the game, I can practically guarantee that I will at least break even, over the long haul. But that's when I play L-AG. When I sit down to play serious T-AG poker, I remember everything Adam taught me and I win. I just won $211 in a $5 + $.50 Limit Omaha H/L tourney on FTP. Thanks, Adam!
