any thoughts or ideas on this hand is welcomed... also, what are the odds that my opponent hits a diamond on the river with that many diamonds already out?

I'm with Lucius here. I would have probably folded it preflop. It is not that great of a hand.

Gee, sorry I never saw this before. Kinda annoying having to go somewhere else to see it, but heck I certainly would haveanswered. Maybe something is wrong with my "blue dots" that indicate a new post in a section.

No need to run away 'cause ATE no answer you, just send me a RazzM or something to let me know. I CERAINLYwould not want an Ansbjerg to think I was IGNORING her!

Anyway, contrary to what was said, it's perfectly OK to call a minimal bet with this before the flop (known in your language as"pre")

Does EVERYONE GET THAT! We do not need to have all four cards wrking, providing that we have SOME "packets" that are of sufficient power to make the handworth while.

thus, 3349 NO GOOD

7892 NO GOOD

Picture pair+ one straight cmbo, and one king high f lush draw, Ok

The other rule is More money, more cards need to be wrking.

and, oh yeah I forgot one point.

You can play a LOT of hands, so-so hands that is, for small amounts PROVIDING that you know EXACTLY what to do

on each flop.

And, certainly we just went horribly wrong after the flop.

The idea in allowing the playing of ";pair of jacks, rag rag" is to have TOP set, or hit something like 88J and have one or two have the 8.

When someone else shows strength, on a flop like this, AND there is no involvement and No pot.

you either pass, or call with the intention that you are not going to continue p;ast the turn unless you hit a jack or ten (not the ace)

Or, perhaps theyh didn't have the st. and check the turn.

But, when you get the texture on the turn, it's just so much easier to be DONE with it.

Seems overtight, almost cowardice. But, trust in ATE, it's the way to go.

See, even if someone has a diamonddraw, you would be a tiny favorite over them (I mean, AND they have the straight too)

YOUR 10 outs, vrs. their 7

So, a person would think that this woujld be good, I mean a favorite isa favorite, RIGHT?

HOWEVER, the missing link in this equation is that

(1) We do NOT try to move all in tiny edges, we try to get our chips in when the FCKING SUBMORON opponents have NOchance

(2) The big thing.

THERER IS NO G.D. GAURANTEE THAT SOMEONE DOEN'STHAVE A SET OF ACES, EVEN WITH NO RAISE BEFORE THE FLOP.

PERIOD.

eSPECIALLY WITH THE THIRDPERSON IN THERE

sURE, history showed us that they in fact had the MICRO-set, but that doen'st change ATE's advice.

When you KNOW that someone else has the straight, and may well have like, aces up aswell (thus cuttingyour outs down to the p;oint whwere no one has the advantage, and thusyouare just feeding the rake, longterm

There is no point in continuing.

And again, the third person in there would scare the hell out of me.

Sure, you had (slightly) the best of it, with yhour superior redraw.

But, dear girl, ifyou are to progress to NO max omaha, you just HAVE to think the way ATE is showing you.

ESPECIALLY when someone else shows strength.

There are other issues, but I"m getting tired.

come Baaaaaack! come baaaaack!
